Jaffa House

The Jaffa House, nestled in the ancient quarter of Jaffa, offers a captivating view of Tel Aviv’s skyline and the Mediterranean Sea. This renovation project is a meticulous effort to articulate the seamless intersection where the cultural heritage of the house converges with a contemporary architectural style – the juncture where the old meets the new and tradition embraces technology.
The challenge lay in preserving the existing traditional architectural character of the 19th-century Ottoman building while tailoring the space to accommodate the vibrant life of a young family of six residing within.
The upgraded design seeks to authentically express the cultural essence of the house, conserving its historical charm, while ingeniously crafting a living space that caters to the dynamic needs of a modern family. Maintaining the delicate balance between heritage and contemporary living, this project becomes a testament to the harmonious coexistence of the past and the present.
